Fish on your line -  All classes are doing versions of this engaging project that uses line, color, shapes, motion, and peaceful images of tropical fish to create a water-filled fantasy.

6th grade lesson plans will include finishing the “Interlocked Hands” project and beginning a fun project called “Little Car” where our artists will explore using  juxtaposition of sizes to create changes in how we see objects in proportion to other objects.

6th grade students are now beginning their “Locker” project. We are folding a piece of heavy drawing paper and decorating it to look like an imaginary locker.

We’re set for a great year in Art!! Those of us who have chosen expanded Art classes will have more time to learn and create. I’ll have some really great projects for you “once a week” artists as well!!!
I’m excited and I know you are too!!!! We will begin our first classes with an introduction to Art rules and procedures, etc.
